Living Lab Style Guide (2023)
The brief
After redesigning the Living Lab website, Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) asked me to put together a style guide and train their staff in how to write for the website and emails.
The process
We agreed the scope, and what areas the guide should cover. I also spent time with team members whose job included writing about the lab, to understand their day-to-day tasks, writing expertise and requirements.
As well as the style guide, I also put together training materials and writing tasks for remote training sessions.
I delivered a style guide covering tone of voice, email templates, and accessibility, then trained key members of staff remotely in how to incorporate it into their work.
